Hamid Reza Rezaei is a prominent Iranian musician and a piano instructor accredited by the Royal Conservatory of Music of Canada. A pianist, composer, researcher, music teacher, and mechanical engineer, he was born in Tehran in 1965 and has spent more than 5 decades in the world of music, more than 4 of which were spent gaining experience in professional work, especially teaching students and alumni of Iranian music schools. Thus, with a comprehensive background in the fields of performance, recording, research, and teaching, he offers exceptional and unique training in the fields of piano playing, music theory, harmony, counterpoint, Iranian music radif, solfege and ear training, music dictation, music software, group singing, orchestration, sound physics, composition, and film music to suit the needs and goals of each student.
During his extensive teaching career, Rezaei has taught over 1,000 students, many of whom have successfully progressed to advanced levels in Iran and Canada. Several of his students, both in Iran and Canada, have all passed the Royal Conservatory of Music of Canada exams, from Preparatory Level A to the highest levels, in piano and theoretical subjects with very high rankings.

Rezaei's impressive resume includes a patented invention of a new mechanism for the piano that includes Iranian musical intervals, demonstrating his innovative approach to music and technology; more than 10 soundtracks for TV series and films that demonstrate his skills in composing and producing music and led to his selection as one of the best film music composers for the TV series "Dar Panah To", technical editing of the influential music theory books "Fundamental Theory of Music" by the late Parviz Mansouri and "Theory of Music" by the late Mostafa Kamal Portrab; authoring a chapter of the book "Theoretical and Practical Foundations of Film Music", publishing several articles in Iranian magazines, holding the first post-revolutionary university music concert in Iran, arranging and conducting Iranian orchestra concerts, and presenting the course "Computers in Music" that included complete course titles and content along with its teaching to Iranian universities for the first time.
Rezaei is a permanent member of the Iranian Music House and is active in the committees of "Teachers" and "Composers, Choir and Orchestra Leaders". In addition, he has been the head and member of the Music Vocabulary Group at the "Persian Language and Literature Academy" for more than 16 years and a member of the Iranian Music Pioneers at the "Art Academy". He has also served as a member of the jury at the Tehran Soloists Festival at the Bahman Cultural Center and for student theses at the University of Arts.
He has given lectures on topics such as "The Role of Fuzzy Thinking in Music" at the "Fuzzy Mathematics and Media" conference held at the University of Sound and Television, and "Engineering Thinking in Music" at the Arts Center, as well as on his invention (a new piano mechanism) at the University of Arts and Culture, for the first time in Iran.
Rezaei holds a Master's degree in Art Research, a Bachelor's degree in Music Composition, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iran, as well as a piano teaching certificate from the Royal Conservatory of Music of Canada.
